Salman Khan needs no introduction. He demands and at times, commands appreciation and worship. His fans would do anything to prove that he is God. Every Salman landmark on Twitter is celebrated by his followers. Recently, his fans were in festive mood when he completed five years on Twitter and later, they celebrated his rule over the internet. All this makes him quite akin to Kim Kardashian, the reality star who has been credited with the privilege of ‘breaking the internet’. Funnily, there are many things that are common between the two. Here are a few:
Audacious You and I
Salman Khan doesn’t believe in mincing words. When photographers banned him for his security staff’s misbehaviour at an event, the actor couldn’t get more amused than that. He posted on Twitter the news from a daily and wrote ‘Ha, Ha, Ha.’ Likewise, Kim shared a picture of hers from her 1997 yearbook and reminisced, “People say, ‘She’s had her lips and her nose done.’ Look at this photo. Tiny nose, huge lips. My lips look bigger here than they do now”.
Family first
It isn’t a secret that Salman just loves and adores his family. He is ready to do anything for them. He painted Twitter glitzy when Arpita got married and made people lift Dolly Ki Doli virtually when Arbaaz Khan’s film was ready for release. Ditto for Kim. She recently shared her sister Kylie Jenner’s spread on Teen’s Vogue’s cover.
Clothes and us? No Way!
Kim is stylish and her designs and couture inspire many. But given a choice, she would love to strut her stuff in just a bathrobe. Salman too doesn’t believe in decking up too much. Whatever makes him comfortable, he is fine with that. He once went for a Kick promotional event wearing a T-shirt and shorts, surprising everyone.
